Burning of the Al – Qur’an  and Sweden’s application to become a member of NATO

The burning of the Al Qu’ran by some Swedes is a barbaric and cowardly act against the holy book of Muslims around the world.

Sweden’s omission of the burning and determining sanctions against the burning of Muslim holy books is tantamount to being involved in the Swedish government for the foolish actions committed by its citizens. Sweden’s attitude was noted by the Muslim World.

Today President Turkiye Recep Tayyeb Erdogan accepted Sweden’s proposal to become a member of NATO after meeting with NATO Secretary General Jens Stolternberg, Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson in Stockholm.

For the Muslim World, the burning of the Qur’an by the Swedes is an unforgivable act. And that is also a violation of the determination of Anti Islamophobia Day by the United Nations, March 15, by the Secretary General of the United Nations, Dr Antonio Gutteres.

We, the Muslim world, really appreciate the steps taken by the Secretary General of the United Nations to establish an Anti Islamophobia Day, with the hope that there will no longer be Islamophobia in various parts of the world, especially countries that are members of the United Nations.

Using the pressure to burn the Al Qu’ran against Turkiye under President Erdogan in order to accept Sweden’s membership proposal in NATO is a very dishonorable act and injures the Human Rights of Muslims who believe in and glorify the glory of the Holy Book Al-Quran.

Pressure on Turkey by allowing the burning of the Al -Quran so that Sweden can accept its proposal is a foolish act and the most cunning diplomacy and a violation of the human rights of the world’s Muslims.

Sweden may be able to become a member of NATO to protect itself from other countries. But letting the burning of the Qur’an become pressure on Turkey is not only Turkey and NATO’s problem. But Sweden has a problem with the world’s Muslims and humanity who respect each other and respect their religious rights.

Through this article, we urge the United Nations to intervene in the Al-Qur’an burning in Sweden as a commitment and consequence of the establishment of the UN’s Anti Islamophobia Day so that it can be carried out and uphold the determination of the Islamophobia Day.

So that:

1. The UN joined NATO’s intervention not to immediately grant Sweden’s proposal to become a member of NATO, in which 31 NATO member countries are members of the UN.

2. Urge the Secretary General of the United Nations to commit to the establishment of Anti Islamophobia Day so that the United Nations will sanction Sweden for not taking action against its citizens who burned Al-Qurans because what they did was an act of Islamphobia and it was a violation of Islamphobia which had been set by the United Nations.

3. Urge the OIC and other international Islamic institutions to encourage the UN to sanction Sweden for omission and not punish the burning of the Al Qu’ran.

May Allah SWT always protect His Holy Book from desecration by anyone. And May Allah SWT protect the Believers wherever they are. And give Strength and Help.
